What is the Falcon Dance?
The Falcon Dance is a 2-week event at Fuller and is our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year. A pep rally kicks off the event and opens our pledge window on Friday, October 17th. Families collect either flat donations or per minute pledges. The student dance takes place during recess at Fuller on Friday, October 31st. The pledge window also closes at midnight that day. Monies raised are to fund our student t-shirts, classroom supply grants, cultural arts, and PTA sponsored events. This year we are hoping to raise additional funds to provide a shade structure on the playground.

How can students get pledges?
Parents can help connect students to different sponsors. Family members, friends, and neighbors are our most frequent Falcon Run supporters. Share your student’s individual link with donors or they can search for your student in the Participant Center: https://www.givebacks.com/causes/fullermagnetpta/campaigns/falcondance2025/participant-center
Can students receive a prize for flat donations?
Absolutely- yes! All flat donations count toward pledges and are divided by 30 (the average student will dance the whole 30 minutes). So, a $30 donation is the same as $1 per minute. A $60 donation is the same as $2 per minute, etc.
What if families don’t have Internet?
If a student’s family does not have Internet access, parents and families can use the pledge donation form in this envelope to record all pledges. If students turn their pledge log into their teacher, please make sure the student and class names are listed on the front. PTA will help enter the pledge book pledges into the fundraising totals.
Can sponsors pay for pledges online?
YES! Sponsors have the option to pledge online and pay immediately. Only pledges that have an email address entered with the pledge can be paid online. Make sure sponsors know they should enter a valid email address.
When is the pledge money due?
Pledge money is due from the sponsor at the time of the donation. Any sponsor donating a per lap amount will be billed, if paying via credit card online, after the Falcon Dance on October 31st when minutes danced are tallied and entered.
How is money collected?
Families can collect cash or checks for in person pledges; pledges may also be collected electronically on the Falcon Dance portal: https://www.givebacks.com/causes/fullermagnetpta/campaigns/falcondance2025
**All cash and check donations avoid a transaction fee deducted from the amount. Fuller PTA will credit the student the FULL AMOUNT of donations, but we do have bank fees deducted before they are deposited into our bank account. All checks must be made payable to Fuller Elementary PTA. **
How do minutes get tallied after the Falcon Dance?
Fuller PTA will take care of entering minute totals for ALL students. No need for parents to worry about that section. ~Volunteers are needed on the day of the event. Please register at FullerPTA.org/volunteer if interested. Thank you.
